Surface fountains and typical aerators don't aerate deeply enough in ponds, depriving fish and your pond's health of the benefits of aeration even at deep levels. The Kasco Pond aeration system is designed to withstand these conditions and aerate your pond properly.

Kasco's Robust-Aire™ systems are NOW 34% quieter and easier to maintain. Independently tested to be up to 44% more efficient than the competition. Newly redesigned, these systems feature a significant reduction in sound (patent pending), larger air filters on 1/4HP and 1/2HP systems for less frequent cleaning, and a visual maintenance indicator to alert when maintenance is needed. Kasco employs several engineers and biologists to scientifically make recommendations for optimal pond health.

Robust-Aire systems pump compressed air from a shore-mounted compressor through self-weighted lines to a diffuser on the pond, lake or tank bottom. The diffuser then continuously releases micro-bubbles that rise to the surface carrying large volumes of water. This induces oxygen-transfer as well as beneficial water movement and mixing.

At 15ft. of depth, 2 diffusers will move 6300 gallons per minute (378,000 gallons per hour!) using 2.5 amps. That is only about .72 a day at $0.10 KW hour!

All Robust-Aire™ diffused aeration systems are available with an optional remote manifold allowing the compressor to be installed up to a mile away from the water's edge.

We strongly encourage you to call about bottom aeration so we can determine which size is best for you. We have only included single and double diffuser systems for ponds up to an acre. But in all there are 12 different systems available if your pond or lake is considerably larger than an acre.  We have only included single diffuser and dual diffuser systems here. A lot depends on average depth, layout of the pond, etc. In cooperation with Kasco, we look at your pond or lake on Google Earth and get a plan laid out for you so you can make the best choice.
